· Implementing strategic and operational plans for our products to conform to our policies, standards and specifications; including participation on any relevant workstream projects
· Developing our range in the specific category by keeping up to date with product and packaging innovations
· Reviewing supplier and factory compliance to XXX’s technical, ethical and quality standards and ensuring they are trained on these on time
· Participating in buying trip meetings to assess products and factories and to provide technical inputs
· Reviewing key critical path deadlines and ensuring they are being met
· Leading and coaching my team
· Working on my personal development plan
· Handling Ad-hoc and Special Projects
· Providing support to the team members of Technical Department
Requirements:
6 years relevant experiences with at least 3 years as a people manager.
Thorough understanding of manufacturing of the relevant category.
Good knowledge of legal and environmental requirements and customer expectations in the country of sale.
Very good understanding of Ethical Standards in the global retailers' supply chain.
Good English communication both in written and verbal.
