Role 2:  Technical Manager – Stationery

Responsibilities:

My Job is: to deliver the technical process for a specific category or sub-category and to ensure that my products and services consistently meet XXX’s quality, safety legal and ethical standards
; e' S: M8 r) i4 u· Implementing strategic and operational plans for our products to conform to our policies, standards and specifications; including participation on any relevant workstream projects
· Developing our range in the specific category by keeping up to date with product and packaging innovations
0 h# o" S1 \* }& r- f" [· Reviewing supplier and factory compliance to XXX’s technical, ethical and quality standards and ensuring they are trained on these on time
, I3 u5 ~  [( Y8 l· Participating in buying trip meetings to assess products and factories and to provide technical inputs
' t2 ?" n4 S/ d- m. `: [) H0 k· Reviewing key critical path deadlines and ensuring they are being met
4 J) Q$ S8 t. Z· Leading and coaching my team
· Working on my personal development plan
) }  y1 Q, S( g9 k2 m9 T& Z0 y& l· Handling Ad-hoc and Special Projects
· Providing support to the team members of Technical Department

Requirements:
( j0 g# M8 ], Y6 ]' o6 years relevant experiences with at least 3 years as a people manager.
Thorough understanding of manufacturing of the relevant category.
9 K; o# x8 w5 ?0 x+ ?8 f$ G/ BGood knowledge of legal and environmental requirements and customer expectations in the country of sale.
Very good understanding of Ethical Standards in the global retailers' supply chain.
