Statement of the Role ' M: y6 i4 ]5 f( J( Z3 T4 F4 sThe Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise, guidance and support to ITT’s global supply base and to support plant specific quality concerns as needed. Roles & Responsibilities •        Promote ITT’s global quality system throughout ITT’s global supply base •        Work with ITT’s Global Sourcing and Plant Sourcing Department to identify new/potential suppliers 4 ]2 T$ Z* t) j0 o% S  F•        Perform/support audits on new and/or key suppliers as needed in order to establish stable process control and quality management system with supplier, improving parts quality situation. 1 A" y( d0 G; d6 N4 c! S8 e•        Be involved in the validation and the approval for production part and evaluation for process capability * S, ~% u8 R' `: E) K; G0 U•        Adjust supplied parts’ quality problem, assist supplier to drive appropriate countermeasures accordingly and verify the follow-up activities and its effectiveness subsequently, and calculate the PPM. 8 _8 k# G) W( G3 F  O•        Support to avoid the matters of customer claims and production disruptions caused by supplied part’s quality. •        Assess quality performance of supplier, put forward requirements of improvement objective and follow the implementation. •        Provide leadership/support to supplier to deploy Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes. •        Provide support, guidance, and training to both suppliers and ITT quality and manufacturing personnel as needed in terms of quality system, process control and technology. •        Serve as a member of, and provide quality and technical leadership to the Commodity Teams
