The first is elder auditors or consultants are more welcome than their younger counterparts. This is the same as alcoholic drink that smells deliciously after long time of store.
The second is they aren't welcome for they don't drink alcoholic beverage in the reception. Consultants behave as servants alike for their clients specially. They are socially active.  Can you refuse it If your master proposes a toast to you?
